About

I am JanAnthony de Wilde. Photography is where it started: wide open landscapes shot from the air, quiet light in the woods, and clean product work on a table. Most of what you see here began as a walk, a drive, or an early alarm.

It did not stop at stills. I shoot video as well, and I spend as much time in the edit as behind the camera. That is where a pile of clips turns into something worth watching, and it is the part I enjoy most.

By trade I am an electrician, so I am used to thinking in cables and circuits. Somewhere along the way that grew into smart homes. I have built two of them from the ground up, with the lighting, climate, security and media all talking to each other instead of sitting in separate apps.

Automation is the part that keeps pulling me back. A good house notices things and acts on them, so nobody has to reach for a switch. My latest project takes that further and runs entirely on AI. It works out for itself what needs to happen, learns from how the house is actually used, and keeps adjusting.

Photos, video, wiring, or a house that thinks for itself. I am open to projects in all of it.
